Falcon Hollow Community Church
History of The Church
450 Sparrow Lane, Falcon Hollow, MD.
The Falcon Hollow Community Church was established in the late nineteenth century as a small gathering place for farmers, mill workers, and early settlers in the region.
Over the years the church evolved into a non-denominational community institution, hosting weddings, memorial services, holiday gatherings, and charity events for residents across Falcon Hollow.
The cemetery adjoining the church predates many of the town’s existing buildings. Weathered headstones mark the graves of early settlers, mill workers, and families whose roots stretch back to the earliest years of Falcon Hollow’s history.
Family plots, Civil War markers, and older stone monuments give the cemetery a quiet historical presence that connects the present-day town to its earliest generations.
