Asher Sterling was born and raised in Falcon Hollow, part of a family whose connection to the town’s legal community stretches back generations. His grandfather founded Sterling Law Group in the 1940s, establishing a small practice that gradually became a familiar part of the community. Growing up with the family firm as a constant presence, Asher developed an early respect for the law and the responsibility that came with carrying the Sterling name into another generation.

After completing college and law school, Asher returned to Falcon Hollow and joined the family practice. Like many attorneys working in a small community, his early career covered a wide range of legal matters, including family law, estate planning, business representation, and criminal defense. The variety gave him extensive courtroom and client experience while teaching him to approach legal problems from more than one perspective.

Over the years, Asher developed particular expertise in family law while continuing to draw upon the broader experience of his earlier practice. He eventually became managing partner of Sterling Law Group, overseeing the firm while allowing its attorneys to develop specialties of their own. Now in his early sixties, Asher remains an active attorney as well as the senior figure at Sterling Law Group. At six feet tall, with silver-gray hair and blue-gray eyes, he carries himself with the understated confidence of someone who has spent decades in courtrooms, conference rooms, and conversations with clients facing difficult decisions. Though proud of his family’s long association with the firm, Asher views its history less as an inheritance than as an obligation to maintain the professional standards that allowed Sterling Law Group to become a lasting Falcon Hollow institution.
