Biography
Dylan Sumner grew up in a family that believed strongly in community responsibility and helping neighbors. He served as a volunteer firefighter before building a career as a logistics coordinator for regional public works, experiences that gave him an understanding of both the people and the practical systems that keep a small community running.
Dylan was elected mayor in 2022 and has become known for his approachable leadership style and open-door policy at Town Hall. He remains a familiar presence throughout Falcon Hollow, whether helping prepare for the Farmers Market, talking with Cedar Street business owners, or walking the lakefront trail with a cup of strong black coffee.
He lives just outside the town circle with his wife, Erin, and their rescue dog, Copper. Away from Town Hall, Dylan spends time tinkering with an old fishing skiff he insists he'll finish restoring “one of these summers.”
