Biography

Vincent Caruso grew up in Baltimore’s Little Italy, the oldest son of Gino and Carmela Caruso. Raised in a close-knit neighborhood where family, hard work, and reputation mattered, Vin developed an early sense of loyalty and responsibility that would follow him throughout his life. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served for six years as a military policeman.

After leaving the Marines, Vin entered civilian law enforcement. He eventually joined the Falcon Hollow Police Department, where his calm demeanor, street experience, and ability to lead without constantly asserting his authority made him a natural mentor to younger officers. He later became Patrol Division Supervisor, overseeing the department’s uniformed patrol operations while remaining most comfortable out in the community with his officers.

Vin is married to Angela, an emergency-room nurse, and they have two sons, Tony and Luca. Away from work, his Baltimore Italian roots remain an important part of his life, as do the values he carried from the Marine Corps: loyalty, service, and taking care of the people beside you.
